Terms of Service
1. The service
StepReplay is a mobile application and website for dancers. The app lets you record dance videos, upload them automatically to your own YouTube channel as unlisted videos, organize them into a private library by group and class date, and share links with people you choose. The service is operated by Jarosław Woźniak, ul. Odrodzenia 13B/7, 59-300 Lubin, Poland.
2. Requirements
- You need a Google account with a YouTube channel to use recording and upload features.
- By using StepReplay you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service — the app uploads and manages videos through YouTube API Services on your behalf.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or have the consent of a legal guardian.
3. Your content
- Your videos are uploaded to your own YouTube channel and remain your property and your responsibility. StepReplay stores only metadata (titles, dates, folders, video IDs).
- You are responsible for having the right to record and share the content you create — in particular the consent of instructors and other people visible in your recordings, in accordance with your dance school's rules.
- Deleting the app or your account does not delete videos from your YouTube channel — you keep full control of them.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service to publish content that is unlawful or infringes the rights of others (including recording people against their will),
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other users' data or YouTube accounts,
- use the service to send spam or distribute malware.
5. Availability and changes
The library features of StepReplay are free. The service is provided "as is" — we aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Features depending on third-party services (Google, YouTube, Supabase) may be affected by changes or outages of those services. We may modify or discontinue features; material changes will be announced in advance.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data caused by third-party services, or content created by users. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumers hold under mandatory law.
7. Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, after prior notice where reasonably possible.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Polish law. Consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected. Disputes will be resolved by the competent common courts.
